Terms and conditions

1. Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Al Farooq Rent a Car, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old (or older, depending on vehicle category)

  • Possess a valid driver’s license

  • Provide valid identification (CNIC/Passport)

  • Agree to all rental and usage policies

2. Booking & Payment

  • Bookings can be made via phone, WhatsApp, or through our website.

  • We may require a partial or full advance payment to confirm your reservation.

  • Payment methods include cash, bank transfer, or other methods as agreed upon.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice. Confirmed bookings will honor the agreed-upon rate.

3. Vehicle Use Policy

By renting our vehicle, you agree:

  • To drive safely and responsibly

  • Not to use the vehicle for illegal activities

  • Not to sublease or transfer control of the vehicle to another party

  • To return the vehicle in the same condition as received (excluding normal wear and tear)

4. Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit may be required at the time of vehicle delivery.

  • This deposit covers minor damages, traffic fines, fuel discrepancies, or late return charges.

  • Refunds are processed within 24–48 hours after the vehicle is returned and inspected.

5. Fuel Policy

  • Vehicles are provided with a certain fuel level, which must be returned at the same level.

  • If fuel is missing upon return, the equivalent cost will be deducted from the deposit.

6. Late Return & Extension

  • Late returns without prior notice may incur additional charges.

  • Extensions must be requested in advance and are subject to vehicle availability.

7. Insurance & Liability

  • Our vehicles may come with basic third-party insurance as per local law.

  • The renter is fully responsible for:

    • Any damage due to negligence or violation of traffic rules

    • Accidents involving unauthorized drivers

    • Theft or loss of vehicle parts

  • In case of accidents, the renter must immediately notify our team and local authorities.

8. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made 24 hours prior to booking may be eligible for a full or partial refund.

  • Same-day cancellations may incur a cancellation fee.

  • Refunds (if any) will be processed via the original payment method within 5–7 working days.

9. Limitation of Liability

Al Farooq Rent a Car shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Delays due to weather, traffic, or uncontrollable circumstances

  • Loss of personal items left in the vehicle

10. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, images, and text on https://alfarooqrentacar.com are the property of Al Farooq Rent a Car. You may not reuse, reproduce, or republish any content without prior written permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad.
